Pretty pink inspiration: Pink living room ideas – to create a sense of sophistication
We haven’t been this excited about an Aldi Specialbuy since the window mirror. The race is on now to all bag one of these velvet armchairs!
Pink or blue? Decisions, decisions.
The Aldi velvet chair is back!
This Kirkton House velvet cocktail chair is the perfect addition for any living room or bedroom. This latest design features stylish brass legs, as opposed to the wooden spindles of the previous chair back in March. With a velvet look and feel upholstered finish in both the pink and new navy colour options.
The popular scalloped armchairs are available in the same dusky pink as the spring collection and a new brooding Navy. Both emulate a touch of the 1920s glamour thanks to the plush velvet upholstery and the curved scalloped design.
Measuring approximately 89cm in height and 76 in width, perfectly sizeable for all spaces.
We have it on good authority there are more plenty more gems to be found in this new collection. Watch this space as we report more next week ; )
The March edition…
Earlier this year Aldi offered the stylish chair, only with wooden legs rather than that of the glitzy metallics.
The Oliver Bonas version (left) is well-known by interiors fans, often popping up on influencers Instagram feeds. With it’s scalloped design, featured on the seat and back, its lush shade of pink velvet and the gold tipped feet – it’s easy to see why it is so admired.
It has been on my personal wish list for an age, but with a higher price point it’s a dream buy, more than a realistic one.
Last year’s velvet chair
These two accent chairs were almost identical. The only really difference, other then price, is the button back detailing and the walnut finish on the legs on the Dunlem version. But if you can live with these slight differences, you could be nearly £60 better off when buying the Aldi velvet chair.
This is the old Aldi chair so of course it’s no longer available, but the Dunelm design is very still ready to shop!
Remember, shoppers will have to be quick as with all Specialbuys, once they’re gone, they’re gone!
